VANTeC, SA, was founded in 1991, having 25 years of experience in the markets where it operates. It began its activity by integrating computer graphics and image processing solutions, and worked, since its beginning, with the leading manufacturers of those days such as NeXT, SGI, Parallax or Alias.
Throughout the years, the company acquired a vast experience in the areas of Real-time Graphics, either for Sports, News or Entertainment, with solutions for Virtual Set Systems and Augmented Reality, Camera Tracking, Motion Capture and Camera Robotics. Besides these areas, VANTeC also has an extensive know-how in selling solutions for post-production, including editing, special effects and 3D modelling and animation.

With a centralised Gfx infra-structure SIC produces all the graphics templates for all areas using same workflow and same tools. That means any graphics element including lower 3rd, graphics for LED walls, full screen graphics, virtual set or augmented reality are created with same tools and same workflow using same playout tool. These workflow provides to a massive Graphics Systems including 48 Powerwall channels to fill big LED Walls, 10 channels for AR and Virtual with full camera movement freedom, 14 videographics channels and 6 graphics channels, all over a centralised infra-structure, serving 3 news studios. Virtual Studio Consulting Project: Consulting project for TV3 (TV Cataluña, Barcelona) in the creation of their 5th virtual studio to produce national news and 24/7 news channel. The studio is a combination of Real and Virtual sets, and has become the world’s biggest infrared virtual studio. The studio is composed of 7 studio cameras (3 of which are robotic cameras) and 1 crane, all of them with complete free camera movement.

WTVision has purchased a camera robotics solution for its recent virtual studio serving Eleven Sports. In a small space it was possible to create a multi-faceted studio with plenty of production capacity and without any human operated cameras. The chosen solution was Telemetrics, VANTeC’s tech partner since 2007. The system includes two conventional pedestal mounted robotic pan/tilt heads and a third camera mounted on a lifting column pan/tilt head that moves on a ceiling mounted rail.The system also includes an advanced robotics controller where shots and motions can be recorded for future use, and where it is possible to control the movement of any camera at any time.The project served for wTVision to integrate Telemetrics tracking protocol with their own graphics engines.
VANTEC has launched its new Studio2Go product line, this time a compact and innovative fully transportable system. A carry-case box featuring an all-in-one production system that lets you mix SDI, HDMI, network or NDI signals, introduce on-air graphics, record multiple channels, and stream to multiple platforms. Integrations of the system were made for diversified purposes as producers, notably N3WS which produces some events for Eleven Sports, SPORTTV, and also for example hospital facilities for capturing, recording and reproduction of surgical interventions or examinations.
VANTeC has celebrated service contracts valid until 2020 with Rede Record and TV Gazeta (part of the renowned Casper Libero Foundation), both located in São Paulo. Services are related to consulting for virtual studios, camera tracking systems and will include technical services, counseling as well as others.VANTeC has been a partner of Rede Record for several years, having provided services on several occasions to this Brazilian TV network at its São Paulo studios, the London Olympics, or by creating part of the station in Europe based in Lisbon.
